Earlier last year a region in Pench National Park, Maharashtra was declared as India's first internationally recognized dark sky park. The Pench Dark Sky Park offer sone a kind experience where stargazing is done at the observatory inside the forest. The observatory is equipped with world class telescopes which can show you planets like Saturn with its ring, Jupiter with its moons, phases of Venus, Mars etc along with thousands of deep sky objects like galaxies, nebulae, starclusters etc. Astronomers at the observatory will guide and explain while showing the wonders of the universe

A unique stargazing + wildlife experience Our starparty program offers a unique blend of wildlife + stargazing experience. You can explore the Pench National Park in jungle safari to witness animals like tiger, leopard, several types of deep, crocodile etc. At night travel to the 3 story high observatory in the middle of the jungle while looking for animals lurking in the dark. The observatory offers a vantage point view of the forest at night. Using the powerful telescopes astronomers will show you planets, galaxies, nebulae(birthplace of stars), star clusters, etc while you listen to calls and sounds of animals around you. You might witness some animals drinking water at the lake next to the observatory

This masterclass can be done by absolute beginners all well as experienced photographers. we curate the experience in a personalized way so that the sessions can be adapted as per skills and experience of participants.
