Atish Aman

Atish Aman is a renowned science communicator, educator, and award-winning astrophotographer, known for his innovative teaching methods. He's impacted over 90,000 students and 300+ institutions with his unique pedagogy, blending practical experiences with hands-on learning. His astrophotography has earned accolades, including a finalist spot in the Astronomy Photographer of the Year, a place in Sky & Telescope Magazine's 100 Best Photos of world of 2012 for his Venus transit photo, and first prize in the Comet ISON competition by the National Science Foundation, USA, Astronomy Magazine, and Discover Magazine. Additionally, Atish is an expert in setting up observatories and has significantly contributed to promoting astrotourism in India. He has designed and developed several observatories, specializing in cost-effective, indigenous designs. He regularly conducts astrophotography masterclasses and several thousand photographers and students have learnt astrophotography from him.
